Rachel Spurrier, Psy.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Rachel Spurrier is a licensed clinical psychologist who administers comprehensive psychological evaluations to clarify client diagnosis as well as to provide recommendations for treatment. Dr. Spurrier has administered testing to clients with concerns related to depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, adjustment disorder, learning disabilities, ADHD, PDD, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and psychosis. Additionally, Dr. Spurrier works with children, adolescents, and adults in individual and family therapeutic sessions. Dr. Spurrier has experience in utilizing cognitive-behavioral strategies within a collaborative client-centered therapeutic framework. Clinical areas of focus include concerns with depression, low self-esteem, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorder, parent-child interaction, generalized anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and mild pervasive developmental disorders (PDD). Clinical interests include the integration of mindfulness and acceptance, artistic expression, emotional identification, and social skills training when working with clients and their family members.
