Dr. Butler is a licensed clinical psychologist and has worked in private practice since 2005. Prior to founding Grace Assessment and Therapy Services, Dr. Butler worked at Psychological Health Associates in Winchester, VA. Dr. Butler’s expertise includes working with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, Giftedness and Neurodivergence, and Sexual identity across the lifespan. Additionally, Dr. Butler has extensive post-doctoral training in the provision of Parental Coordination and Parental Reunification. She enjoys working with traditional as well as non-traditional and blended families. Dr. Butler worked in the Frederick County Public Schools before working exclusively in private practice. She has been an adjunct professor at Shenandoah University and James Madison University. Dr. Butler completed her pre-doctoral internship at James Madison University and an externship with Children’s National Medical Center. Dr. Butler is a credentialed Health Service Psychologist by The National Register.
